Jenna Fischer's most famous character is Pam Beesly in the highly acclaimed TV show The Office. She received the award of two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her stellar performance on the comedy's ensemble.
Her mother, Anne, was a performer in church theater when she was young that instilled a love for theater and performances in Jenna. Jenna was attracted by her mother's church performances when she first started out.
She's an actress trained who returned to theater after The Office. The actress starred alongside Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway play Reasons for Being Happy. Following her appearance in Steve Martin's most recent show Meteor Shower (an absurdist comedy with Greg Germann & Josh Stamberg), she went on to perform at the Old Globe Theatre's record-breaking world premiere.

The podcast has been hugely successful, reaching in the Top Ten worldwide every week as well as receiving over 200 million downloads in its initial two years. She's also the author of The Actor's Life : A Survival Guide (coauthored with Angela Kinsey), in which her tale of relocating from St. Louis to Hollywood and becoming a working actress is narrated.
