Katherine Heigl has opened herself about her experience of being born into an environment that was a "white bubble" and how this revelation has affected the way she parents her adopted multiracial children. In an interview with she spoke about the "Firefly Lane" actress, along with "Grey's Anatomy", actress revealed her looks didn't bother her. However, when talking to her adoptive sister from South Korea about how society treated them, she became conscious of the differences the two were. I asked Meg if, when going out with her parents she was treated with a specific manner but when she was on her own, she got a completely different one. She replied: 'Oh sure, I was treated the same way all the times! Heigl revealed to Parents that it made her realize just the extent of her ignorance. Her anger grew, and she decided to use that anger to support her two adopted daughters. Heigl has a four year old son and a 13-year-old spouse, Josh Kelley. In 2009, the couple adopted Nancy Leigh (12), a daughter of South Korea, and Adalaide (8 the black child) in the year 2012.
