Molly Tarlov has been an American actress since 2011. She is known best for playing Sadie Saxton, the star of Awkward the teen drama comedy show on television. Tarlov was one of two daughters who was born in the home of her parents in Manhattan. She began her career at the age of 10 as Mrs. Peterson in a production of Bye Bye Birdie at the Little Red School House that was well-loved by seven grade students. As she grew older, she studied at NYU Tisch in Paris and Interlochen Center for the Arts. Bennington College awarded her a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre. She studied a variety different styles of acting. The Atlantic Theater Company, where she was a student in addition, helped her integrate acting and writing in the LAByrinth Theater's Master Course. Molly swapped her black jacket for a sunglasses prior to heading to Los Angeles. Her parents were thrilled by her success in landing a part of three words on iCarly. She has appeared on several television programs and developed Caitlin for Winnie Holzman as well as Savannah Dooley in ABC Family's Huge. Molly is a basketball athlete who believes she's better than she really is. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
