Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou is the youngest of four children born on August 9, 1976, from Beaumont Puy in Domme. Her parents encouraged her parents, dentist and teacher who were both teachers to pursue her interest in theatre. This contrasted with her previous desire to become a primateologist because she loved monkeys. As a young woman, her rise to stardom was rapid and marked with the beginning of her successes. After her graduation in 1998, she took part in a French talent-scouting TV programme Jeunes Premiers that was supported by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to beginning acting professionally. Tautou studied at Institut Catholique de Paris, went to church in her youth and was educated Catholic. However she is now separating herself from this background. In addition to her acting career, she pursued a modelling career. It is her turn to be the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and often called The Chanel Muse. In the past, during the Arles Arts Festival she exhibited the collection of her photographs with the name Superficial. The work she produces is focused on fame as well as popularity. It also features an assortment of self-portraits as well as a focus on journalists that have been watching Tautou's career since her dramatic popularity after Amelie. Audrey Tautou became a star and gained international recognition with her role debut as Amelie Poulain from Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie achieved international success in the field of box office, and also won numerous awards across the globe. It's the highest-grossing French film in America. Following the release of this film, Tautou starred in numerous films ranging from British dramas to Jean Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de Faancailles. She then moved to Hollywood and appeared alongside Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
